You have been an active licensed minister for a minimum of two years. You must also show a proven successful ministry track record and possess a theology ministry degree or extensive life experience.
Typically, ordained ministers will have five years or more experience as a lead pastor or president of a para church organization such as a Bible college, evangelism association, term missions or similar.
A Christian ordained minister has exhibited proof of their ability and the legal authority to perform church rights and sacraments such as baptisms, legal marriages and funerals.

How Much Does it Cost to Become an Ordained Minister?
Kingsway has four options for Ordained Ministers depending on your personal situation. The pricing below is for the United States.

Ordained Minister

Use this payment option unless you are retired, disabled or on a fixed income.
There is a one-time application fee of $25.
As an Ordained Minister, you agree to pledge a minimum of $300 per year ($25.00/month) as your tithe/offering to the ministry to fulfill your commitment.

Use this payment option if you are the spouse of an Ordained Minister of KFI.
There is a one-time application fee of $25.
As a spouse of an Ordained Minister, you agree to pledge a minimum of $150 per year ($12.50/month) as your tithe/offering to the ministry to fulfill your commitment.

Retired or Disabled Payment Option
Kingsway makes a special status option available for Ordained Ministers who are 65 years of age and retired, disabled or on a fixed income.
There is a one-time application fee of $25.
In addition to the application fee, you'll need to pledge a minimum of $75/year ($6.25/month) to fulfill your commitment.

Retired or Disabled Payment Option
Kingsway makes a special status option available for spouses of Ordained Ministers who are 65 years of age and retired, disabled or on a fixed income.
There is a one-time application fee of $25.
In addition to the application fee, you'll need to pledge a minimum of $37.50/year ($3.13/month) to fulfill your commitment.

Send the following documents to Kingsway Fellowship International to be processed along with your ordained minister application:
1. Ministry History
If you have a Biblical degree, send a copy of your transcripts or your graduation certificate. Also, if you have taken courses in related fields of Ministry, send a copy of your transcripts.
If you do not have a Theology degree, include a copy of your Christian Service Resume documenting your ministerial experience.
2. Citizenship Information
If you are here on a Green Card or Visa, please send a copy. For Visa, make sure the expiration date can clearly be seen as well as the type of Visa.
3. Credentials
If you previously held credentials or presently hold credentials, submit a copy of your card or certificate.
4. Ministerial Recommendations
We need two recommendations completed by a Pastor, Administrator, Christian Leader or Bible College Director.
